Accessibility

Our commitment to making appmyweb.net and our services usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.

Accessibility statement

AppMyWeb (“we”, “our”) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards so that our website (appmyweb.net) and related services are as inclusive as possible.

Conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, where practicable. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological. Conformance is evaluated against these guidelines and may be partial or full; we strive to meet Level AA over time and to address known issues promptly.

Measures we take

To support accessibility, we have adopted the following practices and continue to refine them:

  • Structure and semantics: We use semantic HTML (headings, landmarks, lists, and regions) so that assistive technologies can interpret and navigate content correctly.
  • Color and contrast: We design for sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds and do not rely on color alone to convey information.
  • Keyboard access: Core functionality is operable via keyboard, and focus order and visible focus indicators are considered so that keyboard users can navigate and use the site.
  • Text alternatives: Images and non-text content are given meaningful alternatives (alt text or other appropriate mechanisms) where they convey information.
  • Links and controls: Link text and button labels are descriptive where possible, and controls are labeled so that their purpose is clear.
  • Responsive design and zoom: The layout is responsive and we aim to support common zoom levels and text scaling without loss of content or functionality.
  • Forms and errors: Where we use forms, we associate labels with controls and provide clear error messages and instructions.

Assistive technologies

We test and consider compatibility with common assistive technologies, including screen readers, magnification tools, and keyboard-only navigation, on major browsers and devices. We cannot guarantee compatibility with every combination of software and hardware, but we use widely supported standards and patterns to maximize compatibility.

Known limitations and ongoing work

Some areas of the site or third-party content (for example, embedded media or external links) may not yet fully meet our conformance target. We are aware of this and work to improve such areas. We also reassess our content and design when we make substantial updates so that new or changed content remains accessible.

Feedback and contact

We welcome your feedback. If you encounter an accessibility barrier on appmyweb.net or in our services, or if you need information in an alternative format, please contact us at support@appmyweb.net. Please include as much detail as you can (for example, the page or feature and the technology you are using). We will acknowledge your message and work with you to provide the information or access you need and, where applicable, to address the barrier.
